Cast away!

I finally cast on - Whee! I was worried that I wouldn't get gauge with the yarn I ordered but thankfully, it worked out just fine. I didn't even have to change needle sizes! After swatching with two other yarns and knitting FIVE swatches in total, it was a relief to have this yarn work out! If anyone is looking for a yarn sub, so far I highly recommend this Elann Peruvian Highland wool. It's the right weight, comes in lots of colours, and best of all - it's only $2.25 a skein!

Your a good girl for doing that many swatches. I'm a lazy girl who just ordered the specified Phildar yarn.
