Turning a Hem from the Wrong Side

Hi all! Inspired by all the beautiful work here, I finally cast on for my jacket, using some blue-green wool from my stash.

I decided to knit in the hems as I went along, instead of sewing them up later. I had done this before, but never from the wrong side of the fabric (which I had to do for the jacket because the right-side stitches are in the half-woven pattern).

So here's a photo of the back piece, after I turned and joined the hem. There's a tutorial with LOTS of photos on my blog.

I'm not normally a fan of blue - but this looks lovely.. the stitch definition is really clear... great idea about the hem too - I'm going to do the same :)
